Cassopolis to host district tourney

The Michigan High School Athletic Association has released its list of host schools for the upcoming baseball and softball district tournaments.
While Dowagiac and Edwardsburg will both have to hit the road in the state tournament, Cassopolis will be hosting the district tournament, which runs from June 1-5.
The Rangers will be hosting Division 4 schools Burr Oak, Centreville, Colon, White Pigeon and Marcellus-Howardsville Christian.
Dowagiac must travel the short distance over to St. Joseph to square off against the likes of Coloma, Niles, Lakeshore and the host Bears in the Division 2 tournament. Edwardsburg will be traveling to Constantine to face the host Falcons, Marcellus and Schoolcraft in Division 3.
Also in Division 3, Buchanan will be hosting Berrien Springs, Bridgman, Brandywine and River Valley.
Over in Division 4, Decatur will also get to host the district tournament. Joining the Raiders will be Covert, Kalamazoo-Heritage Christian Academy (baseball only), Lawton and Otsego Baptist Academy (baseball only).
