CASSOPOLIS -- Kindergarten registration for the 2004-2005 school year is scheduled for Thursday, April 15 at Frank Squires Elementary School at 7 p.m. Appointments will be set at that time for the Kindergarten Round-up to be held on Friday, April 30, from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
All children who will be five years old by Dec. 1, 2004, are eligible to attend kindergarten in Cassopolis.
The April 15 meeting will last about one and a half hours. Registration forms will be filled out, you can sign-up for bus transportation, and learn about immunization needs.
You will be given information about all-day kindergarten, young fives and traditional kindergarten. Parents will also have an opportunity to meet kindergarten teachers and office staff.
Please bring the following information Thursday, April 15: child's birth certificate, immunization (shot) record and social security card.
This year an all-day kindergarten will be available. Applications for this program will be available in the school office beginning May 3 and need to be returned by May 28. Parents will be notified about acceptance after June 9.
