Brandywine's Adam Ringler improved to 40-5 on the year and captured the Division 4 Regional Championship at 145 pounds Saturday at Bronson High School.
Ringler avenged a district finals loss to Hartford's Julian Arreola with a 7-5 win in Saturday's finals.
Buchanan's Travis Reith, who won a district title at 112 pounds, captured the Division 3 Regional Championship Saturday with a 15-6 major decision over Gobles' Chris Kovach.
Ringlers and Reith were two of five local wrestlers to qualify for the Individual State Finals. Joining them are Brandywine's John Farrell and Mike Morrison.
Farrell finished third at 119 pounds as he beat John McCoy of Cassopolis 2-0 in the consolation round. Mike Morrison suffered a 7-3 loss to Bellevue's Chris Thomas in the consolation round at 112 pounds.
The Division 4 Individual State Finals are scheduled for Thursday through Saturday, March 11-13 at the Palace in Auburn Hills.
Division 2
The Niles wrestling team failed to place either of its two wrestlers in the championship or consolation round at the Division 2 Individual Regional Tournament at Middleville Thornapple-Kellogg.
