LMC falls to Muskegon

The Lake Michigan College men's basketball team dropped below the .500 mark with a 66-62 loss to Muskegon Community College Wednesday night.
The loss moved the Indians to 11-2 overall and 4-7 in Michigan Community College Athletic Association play. Muskegon improved to 9-13 overall and 2-9 in the league.
Muskegon held LMC to 17 points in the first half, but was outscored 45-38 in the second.
Niles High School graduate Corey Thacker paced LMC with a double-double of 17 points and 13 rebounds. Desmond Favors, also of Niles, added 14 points while Cassopolis graduate Anthony Curry scored just two points but helped out with seven rebounds and four assists.
