Bobcats stave off Valley

Andy Low scored 11 points to lead the Brandywine varsity basketball team to a 45-38 Lakeland Conference win over River Valley Friday night.
The Bobcats, now 4-6 overall and 2-4 in league play, trailed 30-29 at the end of the third quarter but outscored Valley (6-6, 1-6) 16-8 in the final period.
Casey Udell, Gene McDonald and Danny Rauch each scored seven for Brandywine, which returns to action Tuesday evening at Buchanan in another Lakeland Conference game.
James White led Valley with 11 points.
