Ferris State improves to 9-1 in league play

Niles High School graduate Erin Miller helped the Ferris State women's basketball team to a 79-53 victory over Northwood Thursday evening.
The win lifted the Bulldogs to 14-5 overall and 9-1 in Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play. Northwood fell to 5-13 and 2-8.
Miller scored 12 points to go along with seven rebounds, two assists and one steal.
Molly Potvin paced Ferris State with 16 points while Sarah Duesing added 15 and Lucy DeMartin scored 12.
The Bulldogs return to action next Thursday at Michigan Tech.
