Favors scores 30 in OT loss

A 3-pointer with eight seconds left in regulation erased the Lake Michigan College men's basketball team's lead and sent Friday night's game into overtime.
Kalamazoo Valley Community College outscored the Indians 13-7 in the extra period for the 88-82 victory.
LMC found itself trailing by six, 33-27, at halftime and outscored the Cougars 48-42 in the second half.
Niles High School graduate Desmond Favors earned game-high scoring honors with his 30 points. He and fellow Niles graduate Adam Shepherdson each hit four 3-pointers for the Indians. Shepherdson finished with 12 points. Cassopolis High School graduate Anthony Curry scored 10 for LMC.
The Indians return to action Wednesday at Grand Rapids Community College.
