Brandywine snaps losing streak with win at Eau Claire

The Brandywine varsity basketball team snapped a four-game losing streak Tuesday night with a 67-54 win at Eau Claire.
The non-conference win lifted the Bobcats' record to 2-5 on the year. Eau Claire slipped to 3-4.
Mike Beauchamp paced the Bobcats with 17 points. Casey Udell added 10.
Brandywine trailed 15-11 after one period but outscored the Beavers 18-8 in the second quarter to take a 29-23 lead at halftime.
The Bobcats then outscored Eau Claire 24-6 in the third quarter to take control for good.
Brandywine, which is 0-3 in Lakeland Conference play, travels to Edwardsburg Friday night for a league game. The Eddies, who lost to Buchanan Tuesday night, are 2-5 overall and 1-3 in Lakeland Conference play.
