The Niles varsity volleyball team finished second in pool play and second in power pool play before falling to Unity Christian in single-elimination play at Saturday's Byron Center Invitational.
The Vikings, which went 1-3-2 on the day, host Buchanan tonight at 7 p.m. in a non-conference match.
Sarah Dreher led Niles with 25 kills, two blocks, seven aces and 10 digs. Melissa Olsen added 20 kills and seven blocks. Sandy Molnar had 55 assists to go along with 10 digs, two blocks and seven aces.
Amber Peters helped out with 13 kills, one block, 17 digs and one ace.
