Mother Goose scheduled to fly in to Niles

In January, the Niles Library will be flying high in the Children's Department.
Stop by anytime during the month and pick up a Wright Brothers Dreamers of Flight craft book, see the Century of Flight posters, and curl up with a good book on the men who took us up into the atmosphere. On Saturday, Jan. 17 from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. to see a Wright Brothers cartoon video and register for many door prizes.
Celebrate our state of Michigan during January. On Saturday, Jan. 10 at 11 a.m., Sandra Hansen will perform her Michigan Magic act, depicting wonderful Michigan women with magic that will delight the entire family. There will be Michigan coloring books and maps available all month.
Mother Goose will fly in each week for preschool storytimes beginning Wednesday, Jan. 7 and ending Feb. 11. Learning nursery rhymes from Mother Goose couldn't be better! Three year olds meet at 9:30 a.m., four and five year olds meet at 10:30 a.m. and all age groups meet at 1:30 p.m.
Journey into the dark woods with Hansel and Gretel on Thursday, Jan. 8 at 6:30 p.m. Was there a real gingerbread and candy house deep in the forest?
