Former Viking standouts coming home Thursday

NILES -- Two members of the Niles High School 1999-00 varsity basketball team, which made the Class B Final Four, will return to play a game in the Niles High School gymnasium Thursday night.
Matt Brawley and Derek Cox are currently members of the Olivet College men's basketball team.
The Comets will take on Andrews University Thursday night at 7:30 p.m. in the Niles gym. Cost of admission is $5 and no season passes will be accepted. The doors will open at 6:30 p.m.
Brawley is a senior guard on the Olivet team, which is looking for its first win of the season.
Cox is a center for the Comets and is just a junior. He started his collegiate career at Ashland Univeristy in Ohio, then transferred to Olivet.
Both are starters for the Comets and are among the team's leaders.
Brawley is the team's leading scorer, averaging 11.8 points per game. He has made a team-best seven 3-pointers and is also one f the team leaders in steals with five. Brawley is averaging 28.3 minutes per game and is shooting nearly 44 percent from the field.
Cox is playing an average of 24.5 minutes per game with 6.8 points and 4.5 rebounds. He is shooting 46 percent form the field.
