VICKSBURG -- The host Lady Bulldogs did not let Edwardsburg reach double figures in any of the four quarters Monday night in the opening round of the Class B District Basketball Tournament.
As a result, Vicksburg cruised to a 53-31 win over the Lady Eddies.
In the opening game of the tournament, Battle Creek Harper Creek advanced to the semifinals with a 40-33 win over Sturgis.
Vicksburg will face Three Rivers in the first game of Wednesday night's doubleheader. The Lady Bulldogs and Lady Wildcats are scheduled to tip-off at 6 p.m. Comstock and Harper Creek will play in the second game at approximately 7:30 p.m., or 20 minutes after the completion of the first contest.
