Police make domestic assault warrant arrest

NILES -- A man was arrested in Niles on Tuesday pending charges of alleged assault and battery.
Donald Pyle Jr., 27, 520 Gettysburg, Niles, was arrested after a police officer went to his home on a valid domestic violence complaint, the police report said.
The officer made contact with Pyle and advised him of the warrant.
Pyle was taken into custody and transported to the Niles City Police Department where he was booked and lodged.
In other police reports:
Leon Aldridge Jr., 407 N. Fifth St., Niles, was arrested after a police officer was dispatched to Aldridge's home on a probation violation warrant, the police report said.
The warrant was confirmed by the Berrien County Sheriff's Department after it had been reported by the Lansing Tether.
The officer located Aldridge at his home.
Aldridge was handcuffed and transported to the Niles City Police Department where he was booked and lodged on the warrant.
No bond was listed on the warrant.
