Bridgman too much for Lady Bobcats

The Brandywine varsity basketball team, which had won five of its last six games before Thursday night, suffered a 78-54 setback at Bridgman to slip to 9-9 overall and 6-7 in the Lakeland Conference.
Bridgman is 16-2 overall and 11-2 in the league.
Heather Seyfred led all scorers with 28 points for the Bees. Leanna Rice also scored 16 for Bridgman.
Emily Whitney led Brandywine with 10 points and Stephanie Duckett added nine. Emily Christiansen also scored nine before fouling out.
The Bobcats travel to Marcellus Tuesday night before hosting Buchanan Thursday to wrap up the regular season.
