The Edwardsburg varsity tennis team finished in a tie for 13th place at the Division 4 state tennis finals in Holland.
Detroit Country Day won the state title with 23 points. Grosse Pointe Woods University of Liggett and Kalamazoo Christian tied for second with 20 points.
Almont and Whitehall rounded out the top five finishers with 16 and 15 points respectively.
Edwardsburg did not advance a player to the second day of competition. However, several singles players and doubles squads won first round matches or received a first round bye.
