Gull Lake, St. Joe take D2 crowns

Gull Lake and St. Joseph took home the Division 2 Cross Country Regional crowns Saturday at Southwestern Michigan College in Dowagiac.
Gull Lake won the boys' title with a team score of 83 and the St. Joseph girls won their race with a score of 52.
Vicksburg's Daniel Roberts was the overall winner in the boys' race with a time of 16:05. Jenna Matthews of Otsego wone the girls' race with her time of 19:17. Matthews' time broke the old course record of 19:20.
The Niles boys' cross country team finished ninth with a team score of 209 and the Niles girls finished 13th with 344.
