Niles boys finish fourth at Sturgis Invite

The Niles boys cross country team finished fourth in the Division 1 and 2 race at the Sturgis Invitational Saturday morning.
The Niles girls cross country team finished sixth in the Division 1 and 2 race.
Brandywine did not field full teams but had some high finishers in the Division 3 and 4 races.
Trevor Taylor led the Niles boys with an 11th place finish in a time of 17:50. Austin Neilson came in 14th at 18:01 and Charles Nelson finished 17th at 18:09. Steve Scally finished 22nd with a time of 18:19 while George Nelson finished 24th at 18:20, Logan Todd came in 27th at 18:28 and Nick Schuck finished 39th at 19:31.
Elle Glueckert paced the Lady Vikings with her 26th place finish at 24:37. Whitney Shearer came in 27th at 25:09. Lindsey Leech finished 30th at 25:45 while Melissa Wuthnow finished 32nd at 26:25, Tami Madison finished 33rd at 26:37 and Sarah Barth came in 38th at 34:52.
Brandywine's John Farrell finished fourth overall with a time of 17:55. Brian Wieger also came in 23rd with a time of 20:26 for the Bobcats.
Caylin Garrard was Brandywine's only female runner and finished 21st with a time of 25:30.
