Dowagiac JV football team falls to St. Joe

The Dowagiac junior varsity football team dropped a 20-14 decision to visiting St. Joseph Thursday night at Chris Taylor-Alumni Field.
Dowagiac trailed 14-8 at halftime, but tied the score at 14 where it remained until St. Joseph scored with 17 seconds left in the contest.
Brandon McCuddy rushed for 62 yards and had 22 yards receiving, including a touchdown.
Brandon Simmons rushed for 48 yards and had 36 yards receiving.
Ryan Saylor had Dowagiac's other touchdown as he caught one of David Stuppy's passes.
Stuppy threw for 128 yards and a pair of touchdowns. He also scored a two-point conversion.
