Niles City Police make several warrant arrests

NILES -- A man was arrested in Niles on Saturday for an alleged parole violation.
Jerry Warren Parris, 31, 10260 Rangeline Road, Berrien Springs, was arrested by the Berrien County Sheriff's Department on a valid warrant held by the Niles City Police Debarment, the police report said.
Parris was lodged at the county jail and bond was set at $500.
In other police reports:
Keith Dwayne Johnson, 44, 216 N. 11th St., Niles, was arrested after police officers attempted to make contact with Johnson at his home, the police report said.
Johnson answered the door and was placed into custody without incident before being transported to the Niles City Police Department.
Johnson was booked and lodged with a $10,000.
Antwan L. Hayes, 31, 314 S. Illinois, South Bend, Ind., was arrested after a police officer observed Hayes allegedly being "all over the road."
Hayes pulled over at Market Street where the officer made contact with him.
Hayes allegedly smelled of intoxicants and was arrested and transported to the Niles City Police Department.
He was booked and lodged with a $200 bond.
O C Johnson Jr., 33, 1120 N. Ninth St., Niles, was arrested after police officers patrolling in the area of Seventh and Ferry streets observed a male in the 600 block of Ferry St., the police report said.
The officers made contact and arrested Johnson because he was allegedly in violation of his 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. curfew.
While checking Johnson, police allegedly found crack cocaine on him.
Johnson was transported to the Niles City Police Department where he was booked and lodged with no bond.
