Jr. High squad sweep Fairplain

The Central Middle School seventh grade A team and both eighth grade squads swept Benton Harbor Fairplain Monday afternoon.
The seventh grade defeated Fairplain 33-14 to improve to 3-5 on the season.
The eighth grade Orange team posted a 36-4 win over Fairplain, while the Black squad won, 42-8.
Katie Wood scored 12 points to lead the seventh grade to victory. Dowagiac also got 10 points from Brittany Gnatz and three points from Tasia Diaz.
Scoring two points were Stephanie Grabemeyer, Shelby Willis, Ashley Winters and Linzy Kling.
Lori Key, Jessica Tabbert and Shardatsha Fitchett all scored 10 points to lead the eighth grade Orange squad to victory.
Jessica Karnes had three points, while Tina Laraby also scored.
The squad is now 6-2 on the season.
Kristy Cooper paced the Black squad with 12 points. Tanisha White added 10 points, while Beth Williams finished with six points.
Sarah Shelton, Allison Frontczak and Holly McCuddy all contributed four points.
Sada Nealey finished witth two points.
Dowagiac is 7-1 on the year.
