The Brandywine and Buchanan cross country teams took part in the Bangor Invitational Saturday morning.
River Valley won the 18-team boys' event while Colon took first in the girls' competition.
Brandywine did not field a full team for either race but sophomore John Farrell finished ninth overall with a time of 18:03. Brian Wieger came in 66th at 21:37. Caylin Garrard was Brandywine's top female finisher with a 16th place finish at 24:15.
Darrin Patillo led Buchanan with a 61st place finish at 21:25. Lizzy Brown was the top Buchanan female, coming in 10th overall with a time of 23:46.
