NILES -- The Niles Service League, the Niles Daily Star and Wal-Mart have teamed up to help the children in Niles, Brandywine and Buchanan schools with a Coat Drive today from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Wal-Mart parking lot.
New or gently-used coats, boots, snowpants, mittens and hats will be collected and distributed to children in need in our area through the Niles Service League School Liaison Program.
Last year, Niles Service League provided more than 200 coats, boots, snowpants and other cold weather gear to the schools in our area.
