The Dowagiac Equestrian Team moved up to sixth place following the final weekend of competition.
South Haven maintained its lead over Lakeshore to qualify for the state finals. South Haven finished with 422 points to win the Class B competition.
Lakeshore was second with 410 points and Edwardsburg third with 375 points.
River Valley finished fourth with 255 points and Berrien Springs fifth with 140 points. Dowagiac and Gobles traded sixth and seventh places. Dowagiac finished with 126 points compared to 121 points for Gobles.
Hartford finished eighth with nine points.
Brittany McCormick led Dowagiac with 35 points, while Ashley Syzmonski finished with 29 points. Marcell Chiddister and Jason Krukowski finished with 17 and 15 points respectively. Carin Sobieski finished with 14 points and Amelia First 12.
Alicia First, Sara Aura and Erin Ausra scored nine, seven and three points.
Symonski scored the most points in the final day of competition with 18. She finished second in poles and two-person relay race with Krukowski.
