Watervliet Grace Christian hands Brandywine 3-2 loss on Senior Night

After playing to a 2-2 tie in the first half, the Brandywine soccer team suffered a 3-2 loss to Watervliet Grace Christian Tuesday.
Richard Kiser and Joey Musick each scored to give Grace Christian a 2-0 lead 21 minutes into the game.
Andy Low and Lucas Elrod each scored for Brandywine in the 36th minute to tie the game before halftime.
Kiser then scored in the 25th minute of the second half to give Grace Christian a 3-2 lead, and eventually the victory.
Grace Christian outshot Brandywine 10-9. Kyle Perry had six saves in goal for the Bobcats.
Brandywine travels to Buchanan Monday night for a Lakeland Conference showdown at 7 p.m.
Buchanan edges Sturgis, 2-1
Buchanan's varsity soccer team improved to 8-5-3 on the year with a 2-1 non-conference victory at Sturgis Tuesday evening.
Jose Gonzales gave Buchanan a 1-0 lead with his unassisted goal four minutes into the first half.
Sturgis then tied the game with Rene Maldonado's unassisted goal six minutes into the second half.
Finally, Buchanan took a final lead as Fadzai Kangira scored off an assist from Chris Cecco 12 minutes into the second half.
Sturgis outshot Buchanan 25-11 with Buchanan goalkeeper Josh Wahlstrom tallying 24 saves.
The Bucks host Michigan Lutheran Thursday at 6:30 p.m.
The Buchanan junior varsity soccer team dropped a 3-1 decision against Sturgis.
