Cass remains unbeaten

CASSOPOLIS -- The host Lady Rangers outscored Brandywine 33-20 in the second half to keep their season and Lakeland Conference record undefeated Tuesday night.
Leading 23-17 at the break, Cassopolis (9-0, 5-0) outscored the Lady Bobcats 17-10 in the third quarter and 16-10 in the final eight minutes.
Cassopolis grabbed a 15-8 first quarter lead, but Brandywine stayed close, outscoring the Lady Rangers 9-8 in the second quarter.
It was all Cass in the second half.
Jealyn Foston led the Lady Rangers with 15 points, while Kelsey Gordon added 13 points and Cona Marshall 10 points.
Brandywine (4-4) was led by Emily Christiansen's and Kalie Newman's eight points.
