Brandywine bowled over by Mustangs

The Brandywine varsity basketball team suffered its first loss in the Lakeland Conference Thursday night.
River Valley improved to 6-1 overall and 4-0 in the league with the 45-26 victory. Brandywine dropped to 4-3 overall and 2-1 in conference play.
Emily Christiansen led Brandywine with 14 points before fouling out.
The Brandywine junior varsity basketball team beat River Valley 43-28. Nikki Martyniuk led the Bobcats with nine points as they improved to 4-2 overall and 3-0 in league play.
Brandywine returns to action Tuesday at Cassopolis.
