The Brandywine cross country teams took part in the New Buffalo Invitational Wednesday afternoon even though neither squad had a full team.
Brandywine sophomore John Farrell finished seventh overall in the boys race with a time of 18:18.
Brian Wieger finished 24th overall with a time of 20:55.
Caylin Garrard came in 14th in the girls race with her time of 25:25.
Brandywine travels to Sparta Saturday.
