ST. JOSEPH -- Lakeland Regional Health System has welcomed Tim Tyler to its Board of Directors.
Tyler brings a great business background to the board, Lakeland officials said.
He has been a business owner in south Berrien County for 33 years. He is currently president of Tim Tyler Motors and Tylers' Automotive in Niles as well as an owner of Kruger Tool in Bridgman and Vickers Engineering in Three Oaks.
"I'm pleased to be able to serve on the Lakeland board," said Tyler. "I've been involved with Lakeland as a member of the Lakeland Health Foundation, Niles Board of Directors for two years. I'm looking forward to representing Lakeland's south county communities as a long-time resident and businessman from southern Berrien county."
Lakeland's Board of Directors is a diverse group of volunteer community members, who possess a wide range of skills and talents, from throughout Lakeland's service area, Lakeland officials said.
Lakeland Regional Health System, a not-for-profit community-owned organization, currently has two acute-care hospitals in St. Joseph and Niles, a Specialty Hospital in Berrien Center, a Long-Term Continuing Care Facility, and an assisted living facility as well as a number of outpatient facilities and clinics focusing on care such as rehabilitation, wound care and pain management.
