The Brandywine varsity basketball team split its two games at the Concord Invitational this week, falling 57-21 to Michigan Center on Monday before beating the host Yellow Jackets 47-41 Wednesday night.
Emily Whitney scored 19 points to lead the Bobcats past Concord. Kalie Newman added seven points.
Brandywine, now 1-1, returns to action Thursday, Sept. 4, at home against Kalamazoo Christian.
