Another year of prognostication

Are you ready for some football?
The Daily News Football Forecasters are.
The panel of 10 prognosticators kickoff the college football season today with 10 picks.
Returning to the panel for yet another year are defending champion Frank Williams, Cassopolis' police chief; last year's grand loser, Scott Novak, Dowagiac Daily News sports editor; U.S. Congressman Fred Upton, R-St. Joseph; Tom Atkinson, Dowagiac's police chief; Sue Dobrich, judge; Jim Snow, Dowagiac city clerk; Bryan Wild, MHSAA official; and David Compton, Daily News general manager.
Joining the panel this year is Dowagiac assistant football coach Mike Behnke.
Each week the Football Forecasters will pick from 10 college games. At the end of the year the panel will select the winners from the Bowl games.
The forecaster with the best record will receive a reward, as will the forecaster with the worst record.
