NILES -- A man was arrested in Niles on Monday pending charges of allegedly resisting officers arrest, assault and battery and a probation violation.
Randy Lamar Woodard, 23, 1819 N. Fifth St., Niles was arrested after police officers were dispatched to a domestic violence assault and battery in progress at the North Fifth Street address, the police report said.
When police arrived, Woodard had allegedly fled the premises.
Woodard, however, came back when police had left and poured cleaning bleach over the victim and throughout the house before once again fleeing before police came back.
The officers then decided to wait at the scene of the incident and arrested Woodard when he returned to the house for a third time.
A Cass County warrant for Woodard's arrest was confirmed and he was arrested and lodged at the Niles City Police Department.
Woodard was given no bond.
In other police reports:
Robert Lee Allen, 39, E. Main St. Lot No. 25, was arrested after an officer saw Allen allegedly go through a solid red signal at 13th Street.
The officer made contact with Allen after which he was arrested on the charges mentioned above.
Total bond for both charges was $200.
