The Brandywine Cal Ripken Jr. Babe Ruth 12-year-old All-Stars captured the Eaton Park Invitational title with a 12-1 win over Berrien Springs.
In the championship game, Taylor Ort led the Brandywine All-Stars with a grand slam, a two-run homer and a single as well as earning the pitching victory. He struck out seven batters in three innings.
Dominique Pompey added a three-run homer and relieved Ort on the mound for the final three innings with five strikeouts.
Stephen York also hit a home run and a single. Cody Udell added a double while Jesse McCombs helped out with a pair of singles.
The 12-year-olds also won the Cal Ripken Jr. Michigan State Tournament.
