Cassopolis police chief Frank Williams has found a way to show his support for the Boys and Girls Club in Cassopolis by organizing an inaugural golf outing to raise funds and help get the club open.
Participants can sign up now for the four person scramble, which will be held Aug. 22 at Hampshire Country Club. The outing will be limited to the first 36 teams. Cost is $200 per team or $50 per person. A chicken lunch will be provided. Player registration is scheduled to begin at 8 a.m. with a shotgun start to follow at 9. There will be prizes for first, second and third place finishers, plus a longest drive contest, longest putt made contest and closest to the pin contest. For more information please call Chief Williams at 445-8100.
