Street Ball Tour coming to Cass

CASSOPOLIS -- The Cassopolis Basketball Association is teaming up with Hoop Stars, Inc. to present the 2003 Street Ball Tour Aug. 16 at Ross Beatty High School.
The event will feature appearances by street basketball players made famous by their exploits in arenas like the famous Rucker Park playground courts in New York City. Pitted against some of the best basketball players in Michiana will be famous streetball players like Malloy "Da Future" Nesmith, Randy "White Chocolate" Gill, and Jason "Bird Man" Williams. Doors open at 6 p.m. and play will begin at 7 p.m.
Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door, and can be purchased at Tony's Talk of the Town, 111 S. Rowland in Cassopolis, Bryann's Hair Design, 1949 Oak Street in Niles, the Charles Black Recreation Center at 3419 W. Washington in South Bend, and Al's House of Styles at 618 N. Olive in South Bend.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the Cassopolis Community Association Youth Program.
