Silver Hawks beginning homestand

SOUTH BEND, Ind. - The first-place South Bend Silver Hawks return home tonight, for an eight game homestand against the Cedar Rapids Kernels and the Kane County Cougars.
The homestand kicks off with the Bacardi Silver Visor Giveaway. The visors are free to the first 1,000 fans age 21 and over. Thursday is also the Thirsty Thursday Concert Series presented by Budweiser, WB 25 and 103.9 The Bear. X-ray roger jimmy will be playing in the Bullpen Bar &Grille following the game, and $1 Michelob Ultras will be available throughout the game.
Friday is highlighted by the Catholic Schools Insulated Lunchbag Giveaway. The lunchbags are free to the first 1,000 kids age 14 and under. Friday is also Meijer Family Fun Friday with Magic 95.7. Fans may pick up a coupon from Meijer good for four box seat tickets, four hot dogs, four Pepsi products and a program for only $24. Friday is Kosciusko County Day as well.
Saturday, as always, is the South Bend Tribune 5 for $5 Saturday. Fans may check the Tribune for a coupon good for one ticket, one hot dog, one Pepsi product, one snack and a program for only $5.
Sunday is silverhawks.com Sunday. Fans may log on to the team's website to find weekly specials on tickets, souvenirs or food. Sunday is also WFRN Sunday Afternoon at the Cove.
Monday is the ever-popular ABC 57 and B-100 Dollar Monday. Fans may buy $1 tickets, $1 hot dogs, $1 Pepsi products and $1 beer.
Tuesday night is headlined by the Dental Center Toothbrush Giveaway. The toothbrushes will be given out to the first 1,500 fans through the gates. Tuesday is also All Faiths Tuesday with Pulse FM. Church groups receive a $2 discount, and fans that bring their church bulletins receive the same discount as well. Tuesday is also Plymouth Community Night.
Wednesday is Hall of Fame Night. Former South Bend White Sox manager Tony Franklin will be formally inducted into the South Bend Silver Hawks Hall of Fame. Wednesday will also be turn back the clock night at the Cove. Players will wear authentic White Sox and Silver Hawks jerseys that were worn over the past 15 seasons of the franchise. It's also another Pepsi Wednesday presented by the WSBT Radio Group. Fans may buy one ticket and get one free with a Pepsi proof of purchase.
The homestand ends with the Thirsty Thursday Concert Series presented by Budweiser, WB 25 and 103.9 The Bear. Mack Pherson and the Struts will be performing in the Bullpen Bar &Grille following the game, and $1 Michelob Ultras will be available throughout the night. Thursday night is Elkhart Community Night at the Cove.
