Deadline for entering the Dowagiac City Tournament women's tournament is Wednesday.
The pairings will be posted at the Dowagiac Union High School tennis courts on Friday evening.
Cost for entering the tournament is $5.
Residents of Cass County, graduates of Dowagiac schools, current and former members of the Dowagiac Tennis Association are eligible to play in the city tournament.
The men's and women's doubles tournament is scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 9 at 9 a.m., while the mixed doubles tournament is set for Sunday, Aug. 10 at 9 a.m.
Cost is $10 per team and the same eligibility rules apply as in the singles competition as well as the same format.

The Behnke Memorial Golf Tournament will be held on Aug. 2 at the Dowagiac Elks Club Golf Course.
The tournament will begin with a shot gun start at 9 a.m. The event consists of four-person teams (with at least one woman per squad).
Cost per person is $35, which includes golf, cart, beverages, food, fun and prizes.
Cash prizes will be awarded to the first, second and third place teams.
There will also be prizes for the longest putt, closest to the pin and longest drives. A 50/50 drawing will also be held.
All proceeds will go to the David Behnke Memorial Scholarship at Southwestern Michigan College.
