The Berrien County Neighborhood Watch will have a booth at the Berrien County Youth Fair this year on Aug. 11 through 16.
The sheriff's department needs individuals and groups to from the Niles area to cover the booth on those six days from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. to explain Neighborhood Watch and get people interested.
If you can help out, please contact Berrien County Crime Prevention Unit at 983-7141 Ext. 7221.
With enough people involved, no one's shift need be very long.
The department is also looking for groups from Buchanan, Galien, Lincoln Township, New Buffalo, Sodus, St. Joseph City and St. Joseph Township.
The sheriff's department will have a map of each city and township at the booth to show which areas are involved in Neighborhood Watch.
