NILES -- A man was arrested in Niles Sunday, pending charges of alleged possession of cocaine, resisting officers arrest and a parole violation.
Arthur Lee Morgan, 49, 1634 Taft St, Niles, was arrested after officers were dispatched to Sixth and Howard streets to assist other officers conducting an arrest, the police report said.
Morgan was arrested when officers saw his daughter allegedly pass on a bag of crack cocaine to him.
Morgan was transported to the Niles City Police Department where he was booked and lodged with no bond.

Carla Kay Aldridge, 24, 1219 N. Fifth St, Apt. No. 2, Niles, was arrested on a valid warrant out of Niles City Police Department, the police report said.
She was lodged at the Niles City jail with no bond.
Roa Lee Blackwell, 51, 626, N. Sixth St., Niles, was arrested after police officers investigated the incident with the suspect still at the scene, the police report said.
Blackwell had allegedly assaulted the woman he was renting a room from.
Blackwell was lodged at the Niles City Police Department with a $200 bond after an eight hour hold for intoxication.
Jason Adam Barnes, 29, 1543 Hickory St., Niles, was arrested after a police officer observed a suspect vehicle travelling south bound on N.13th Street, the police report said.
The vehicle was allegedly weaving in and out of its lane.
The officer made contact with Barnes and arrested him.
Barnes was transported to the Niles City Police Department where he was booked and lodged.
Nino Martinez, 23, 1614 E. Bowman St., South Bend, Ind., was arrested after officers pulled him over at Front and Marmont streets, the police report said.
The car was pulled over because the driver wasn't wearing a seat belt.
The officers searched Martinez' vehicle and allegedly found a marijuana pipe and $430 in counterfeit currency.
Martinez was booked and lodged at the Niles City Police Department with no bond for the counterfeit U.S currency.
He was given a $50 bond for his expired drivers license,
