Dowagiac's Kyle Frese has already made a name for himself in motocross circles and that will pay off on Thursday when he rides with Mike LaRocco.
Frese, who is only eight, is coming off winning the Powerade North American Championship this past weekend in Granton.
He has been throughout the United States riding his Cobra minicycle and will get a chance to grab some "big air" with motocross legend LaRocco on Thursday at Red Bud near Buchanan.
Frese not only is mature for his age, but has shown the dedication to the sport that most riders his age do not.
People are beginning to take notice of his riding ability.
Cobra has begun to help out with parts and has asked Frese to come to Pennsylvania to test their 2004 cycles.
Kyle Frese is no stranger to the Red Bud track. He has raced their on numerous occasions and will do so again on Friday.
He said he and LaRocco will ride the course together and he is looking forward to going over the biggest jump on the professional circuit, named "LaRocco's Leap."
Frese thanked his sponsors, Frese Discount, Smith Goggles, Twin Air, CTI, Renthal, DC Shoes, Heavyset, Flying Colors, Pro Action, TNR, Engine Ice, Liquid Performance and Cobra for all their help in getting him to where he is. He also thanked sports doctor Jim Hunt.
A special thanks went to brother Tyler who rides with him every day.
