For the second year in a row, the Buchanan Lady Bucks won the Lakeland All-Sports Award. The award was presented Sunday at the Lakeland Conference banquet, held on the campus of Lake Michigan College.
Highlighting this year for the Bucks were championships in basketball, tennis and a second place finish in softball. Buchanan edged Brandywine by one point for the All-Sports award.
Key three-sport athletes leading Buchanan this past school year were Tiffany Griffin and Ali Bender. Two-sport athletes were Ashlee Layher, Tara Paturalski, Jeni Klutts, Colleen O'Toole, Lindsay Colip and Jaclyn Mummaw.
Coloma and Edwardsburg tied for the boys' All-Sports title.
