Chris Singleton fanned 10 batters on his way to the pitching victory for the Royals. Brooks Bonner struck out nine in the loss for the Greens.
Mike VanKirk led the Royals with a single and two RBIs. Ryne Dowling added a double and Rick Morrison also hit a single.
Bubby Carnes paced the Greens with a double while Aaron Holy hit a single for one RBI.
