CONSTANTINE -- The Edwardsburg Eddies' season came to a close Saturday afternoon in the Division 3 Regional Tournament as Kalamazoo Christian posted a 10-5 victory.
Kalamazoo Christian went on to win the regional championship as they defeated highly ranked River Valley in the title game.
Neither team scored a run through the first three innings in the second semifinals on Saturday.
Both teams scored a run in the fourth, however, Kalamazoo Christian scored five runs in the top of the fifth.
The Comets scored four more times in the sixth to take a 9-0 lead.
Edwardsburg scored two runs in the bottom of the sixth and seventh to complete the scoring.
Zach Rooney took the loss.
The Eddies finished the year with a 19-16 overall record. Kalamazoo Christian improved to 17-12 with the victory.
