Niles High School graduate Isaiah Beckman recently completed his freshmen season as a utility player for the Adrian College baseball team.
He started in 26 games and played in 34.
Beckman played third base and pitched for the Bulldogs.
He was 32-for-95 (.337) at the plate, with seven doubles. He had 14 RBIs and scored 21 runs for the Bulldogs.
On the field, he had 27 putouts for an .892 fielding percentage.
As a pitcher, he was 1-0 with an ERA of 13.50. He pitched 3.1 innings, had four strikeouts, one walk and gave up six hits and five runs.
