Area golfers have plenty to choose from these days

It's that time of year for area golfers.
There are plenty of outings and leagues to choose from if they are interested in keeping their calendars filled.
The fifth annual Dowagiac Junior Golf Program at the Elks Club Golf Course is getting ready to kick off on Monday, June 16.
The league will run each Monday from 8:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. for eight weeks ending Aug. 4.
The program is open to both boys and girls ages 8-14. The league is limited to the first 60 paid golfers.
Golfers will need a permission slip to play. Cost of the program is $40. No clubs will be provided.

Grace Christian
The Grace Christian third annual golf outing is Saturday at Pipestone Creek Golf Course.
The event is a four-person scramble which will begin with a shot gun start at 8 a.m.
