Rangers win finale

The Cassopolis Rangers finished the regular season on a high by winning both ends of a doubleheader at EauClaire Wed nesday evening. Game one saw Jason Rietveld throw a two hitter for the Rangers who also had plenty of offense. Mike Glenn led the Rangers with three doubles and four RBI's along with Jason Rietveld who had three singles and three RBI's as the Rangers rolled to 12-2 victory. In the night cap John Solloway took the victory 14-4 for the Rangers as Marcus Bass led the way with three hits including a double along with Ashton Danzy who had two hits and three RBI's.
Rangers ousted
The Cassopolis baseball and softball teams were eliminated from the Division 3 baseball and softball tournaments on Tuesday by Schoolcraft.
The Lady Rangers were blanked by Schoolcraft in Edwardsburg, 1-0.
Miranda Bowersox of Schoolcraft tossed a no-hitter at the Lady Rangers, who finish the year at 11-17.
The Ranger baseball team was defeated by Schoolcraft on Tuesday in Edwardsburg, 10-1.
Terry Young tossed a two-hitter with 17 strikeouts.
Justin Lee had a double to account for one of the Rangers' two hits.
Schoolcraft advances to play Edwardsburg on Saturday in the Division 3 District semifinals.
