The Niles varsity softball team managed just three hits in a pair of losses to Southwest Michigan Athletic Conference West Division foe Lakeshore Thursday afternoon.
The Lancers, which are 13-2, beat Niles 8-0 and 10-0 to drop the Vikings' record to 1-9.
Crystal Crouch (1-4) and Kari Eckstein (0-5) took the pitching losses for Niles.
Stephanee Schrader managed the only Niles hit in the first game while Nikki Lintz and Krystal Lary each had a hit in the second.
Niles returns to action Monday at home against Berrien Springs.
