Coward wins 100th match of his high school career

The Buchanan tennis team had another successful tournament showing Saturday at Lowell.
The Bucks, ranked No. 2 in Division 4, ran away with the Lowell Tournament title as they scored 32 points.
Alma was the runner-up with 19 points while Lowell finished third with 16 and Big Rapids took fourth with 13.
Buchanan swept all eight flights with every player or team finishing a perfect 3-0 on the day.
Senior No. 1 singles player Bryce Coward reached a career milestone as he achieved his 100th career victory and is now 100-6 during his time at Buchanan.
Coach Steve Bender also reached a milestone, picking up his 50th tournament victory in his 15 years of coaching. That places him fifth on Michigan's all-time list.
The Bucks have two Lakeland Conference matches this week before playing in the Muskegon Catholic Central Tournament on Saturday. Catholic Central is ranked No. 1 in Division 4.
