Brandywine got its bats going early and needed just nine innings to sweep a doubleheader from Lakeland Conference rival River Valley Monday afternoon.
The Bobcats, ranked No. 4 in Division 3, won the first game 13-0 in five innings and won the second 15-0 in four innings to improve to 6-1 on the year and 2-0 in league play.
Nicki McGowen earned both victories for the Bobcats, firing two no-hitters to improve to 6-1.
Michelle Shoemaker hit a home run in each game for Brandywine while Ashley Antus hit a triple and a double in the first game. Nakisha Washington tripled in the second game and Kayla Asmus doubled in the second.
Brandywine travels to Berrien Springs Friday for another Lakeland doubleheader.

Jenny Klutts picked up two more wins as the Buchanan softball team swept a doubleheader from Edwardsburg in Lakeland Conference action Monday.
The Bucks edged Edwardsburg 5-4 in the first game before winning 11-1 in five innings in the second game.
Colleen O'Toole hit a home run and two doubles to lead the Bucks in the second game. Klutts also hit a homer in the second.
Tiffany Griffin and Michelle Johnson each hit a double in the opener.
Buchanan travels to St. Joseph Friday.
