There will be a meeting of the Wednesday Night Women's Golf League at the Elks Golf Course clubhouse on April 16 a 7 p.m.
Anyone interested in joining the league is welcome to attend.

Run for the Buds
The annual Run/Walk for the Buds will be held on Saturday, May 3 preceding the Grand Floral Parade in St. Joseph.
The run is scheduled to begin at 11:30 a.m. The walk will begin at 11:35. Both events begin on the corner of Ship and Main Streets in St. Joseph.
Check in and registration will take place at Whitcomb Tower beginning at 10 a.m. Entry forms may be obtained at www.blossomfestival.org or by calling Blossomtime at 926-7397.
Tryouts set
The Niles Babe Ruth Baseball League signups and tryouts will be held Saturday, April 12, at the Ring Lardner Middle School gymnasium.
For players who have not yet signed up, registration will begin at 9:30 a.m. If you have not previously played in the Niles Babe Ruth League, please bring a copy of your birth certificate.
High school baseball players may not try out, but may register for league play on this day. The registration fee is $70.
Tryouts will be from 10:00 a.m. to noon. Please wear tennis shoes and bring your baseball mitt.
