Brandywine High School graduate Rachel Koller helped the Simpson College (Iowa) softball team to three wins last week.
The Storm opened its conference schedule Thursday with a two-game sweep of Wartburg college. Koller, playing second base, went 2-for-4 at the plate as Simpson won the first game, 8-7. She then went 1-for-2 in a 4-3 victory in the second game.
On Saturday the Storm rolled over Dubuque College, 15-0. Koller hit a three-RBI double during a seven-run second inning for Simpson. She was 1-for-2 in the game with a sacrifice bunt.
Simpson, now 23-1 on the year, is ranked No. 2 in the most recent USA Today/NFCA NCAA Division III poll.
